WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Equipment:
- mixing bowl
- whisk
- waffle maker (we use this one)
Makes: 6 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs
- 250 grams plain flour
- 415 ml milk
- 120 grams melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
METHOD
- Pre-heat waffle maker
- Beat eggs in your mixing bowl until light and fluffy
- Beat in all remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Use waffle maker as instructions direct, pouring mix into the iron. Cook until golden brown – probably around 5 minutes per batch.
To finish:
Serve hot, with maple syrup drizzled over. If desired, laden with berries and icing sugar or a scoop of ice cream.
